Confirmation is celebrated once a year, usually during the Easter Season. It is open to all youth who are seventh graders through eleventh grade, as well as any unconfirmed Catholic youth. Candidates in both public and parochial schools are required to complete a two-year Confirmation process under the direction of the Parish. Catholics who are beyond high school are prepared for this sacrament through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

High school students must to be baptized and have First Confession prior to confirmation.
